- Environmentally sound and energy saving, this fully waterproof(to IP65 standard) timer-switch will turn on your heater(s) for a pre-determined period of time from 1 to 60 minutes. Idea for installing in smoking shelters, pub gardens, dining areas or anywhere controlled outdoor heat is required. Soft start is a more gentle lamp switching system that electronically increases the amount of energy supplied to the unit when it starts up(over a second or so) and is estimated to increase the life of the lamp unit by up to 30%.
